HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioner-husband of alleged detenue Palwinder Kaur has prayed for release of his wife from the illegal custody of respondent No.4. Upon notice, a reply by way of affidavit of Satvinder Singh Virk, DSP (City), Ferozepur has been filed stating that the alleged detenue Palwinder Kaur is presently residing in rented house at Sangam Vihar, Sri Amritsar Sahib of her own sweet will and was never illegally confined by respondent No.4. She got her statement recorded that her husband used to beat her as a result of which she left her matrimonial home. She stated that she has got no concern of any kind with her husband Tarsem Singh and her children.

In view thereof, no further directions are required to be issued. Disposed of.
