! $#  % & '()   The petitioner through instant petition is seeking setting aside of order dated 17.08.2019 (Annexure P-3) whereby JMIC, Patiala has declared the petitioner as proclaimed offender in a complaint bearing No. COMA-1664/2015 dated 11.06.2015 filed under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

This Court vide order dated 14.02.2020 issued notice of motion and further directed the petitioner to appear before the trial Court within 15 days. The trial Court was further directed to release the petitioner on interim bail. The petitioner in compliance of aforesaid order did not appear before trial Court and moved CRM-9658-2020 seeking extension of time to comply with order dated 14.02.2020 passed by this Court. There was no representation on behalf of petitioner on 06.07.2021.02.09.2021, 25.11.2021, 19.01.2022 and 04.11.2022. It is apt to mention here that lawyers were abstaining from work on 04.11.2022 and the matter was adjourned for today.
