***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL , J .(Oral) The instant petition has been filed seeking grant of anticipatory bail as the petitioners apprehend their arrest consequent upon their bail having been cancelled by the Trial Court vide order dated 05.12.2023 during course of trial arising out of FIR No.8 dated 06.01.2022 registered at Police Station Qadian, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur, under Sections 21 and 29 of NDPS Act.

The aforestated position, wherein the petitioner has jumped bail does not warrant grant of anticipatory bail in view of judgment passed by this Court in CRM-M-39172 of 2021 titled Pawan Kumar Vs. State of Haryana and another decided on 21.9.2021. The petition, as such, is dismissed. MOHAN SINGH 2024.02.12 03:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-7217-2024 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2024:PHHC:019082 It is, however, directed that in case the petitioners surrender before the Trial Court within a period of two weeks from today and moves an application for grant of regular bail, the Trial Court shall consider the same in view of directions in concluding paragraph of judgment passed by this Court in Pawan Kumar's case (supra).
