Sumitra Devi v. Sat Pal And Others
In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Civil Revision No. 382 of 2021 Date of Decision: 24.02.2021 Smt. Sumitra Devi ... Petitioner(s)
Versus
Sat Pal and Others ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Anil Kshetarpal.
Present:
Mr. Sumit Gupta, Advocate for the petitioner(s).
Anil Kshetarpal, J.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, while relying upon the judgment in H.S.Ahammed Hussain v. Irfan Ahammed (2002)6 SCC 52, contends that the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal cannot put any restrictions on the withdrawal of the amount, which belongs to a person, who is major.
From the reading of the order of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, it is apparent that the attention of the Court was not drawn to the aforesaid fact.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, prays for permission to withdraw the revision petition, with liberty to file a fresh application before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. Ordered accordingly.
