***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the order dated 30.03.2000 (Annexure P-10) passed by respondent No.4 i.e. Superintendent of Police (Ambala) vide which the petitioner was dismissed from service and order dated 20.06.2000, whereby his order of dismissal was reduced by the IGP, Ambala Range and four increments with permanent effect were stopped and order dated nil whereby his appeal against the order dated 20.06.2000 was dismissed by the Director General of Police, Haryana. 2.
Petition was admitted for hearing on 03.08.2001. 3.
When taken up, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4.
Learned State counsel submits that per his instructions petitioner died during service on 10.10.2003 and no steps have been taken by his Legal Representatives to implead themselves as party or further prosecute the cause of action, if any.

The writ petition is disposed of as infructuous, as per statement made by learned State counsel.
