The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondents to fix their salary in the pay scale of Rs. 5300/- with effect from 01.01.1996. 2.

Mr. Prince Singh, Advocate for respondent No. 2, at the outset, submits that petitioner No. 1 has passed away and all the documents which are on record are relating to petitioner No. 1. With respect to petitioners No. 2 to 7, there is claim for Assured Carrier Progression Scheme and there is no claim for revision of pay scales.
