This is a petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking directions to respondents No.2 and 3 (police officials) to safeguard the life and property (Mahindra Scorpio-N bearing Engine No. YGP4K39440, Chassis No. MAITJ2YGTP6K90517, Registration No. PB10-JF-0095) of the petitioner, of which he is in possession as per the duly registered Registration Certificate bearing No. PBRC000002926268, by providing protection to the petitioner and his property, and further a direction not to let respondents No.4 to 7 (authorized signatory and NEETU RANI 2026.05.01 17:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment PHHC, CHD

The main contention of the petitioner is that private respondents No.4 to 7 are trying to unlawfully take possession of the aforesaid vehicle from him. It is submitted that the Registration Certificate stands in his favour and he has already made all the payments, however, the said respondents are now attempting to forcibly dispossess him of the vehicle.

On the other hand, learned counsel for respondents No.4 to 6 has submitted that respondents No.4 to 6 are not trying to take possession of the vehicle forcibly and have already moved a complaint (Annexure R-4/7) before the police seeking action against the petitioner on the ground that he has taken custody of the vehicle without making due payment. It is further submitted that the respondents shall not take possession of the vehicle by unlawful means and shall adopt due process of law for the same. 4.

In view of the undertaking given by learned counsel for respondents No.4 to 6, the present petition stands disposed of. 5.
