(ORAL) The petitioners who were appointed prior to the coming into force of the Haryana State Education School Cadre Group 'C' Service Rules, 1998 (for short "1998 Rules"), have filed this petition for issuance of directions to the respondents to promote them to the posts of Language Teacher (Hindi) which were available prior to the enforcement of the aforementioned rules.

Learned counsel for the respondent very fairly states that the posts which have come into existence after coming into force of the 1998 Rules would be governed by those rules. He further states that the claim of the petitioners for promotion will be considered as per their eligibility against any vacancy available prior to the coming into force of the 1998 Rules and decision in this regard would be taken within a period of three months.
