***** ARUN MONGA, J. (Oral) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to official respondent to take appropriate action in case FIR No.0097 dated 18.05.2018 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Sohana, District SAS Nagar and to submit final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C.

During the course of hearing, status report = has been tendered, which is taken on record. Referring to para Nos. 4 and 5 of the said report, it is borne out that prosecution is taking further steps in the present FIR. Same is reproduced as under:- "4.
That that from the investigation conducted, the offences against the accused Karandeep Kaur Toor and Trivikram Singh Toor stood duly proved and accordingly, the final report under section 173 Cr.P.C. was prepared and presented before the Ld. Court of competent jurisdiction on 10/02/2023. The same is pending for consideration before the Ld. Court and is now fixed for framing of charges on 01/08/2023.

That vide the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of directions to the respondent to take appropriate action in FIR No. 97 (supra) and present final report before the Ld. Court. In response to the same, it is submitted that the investigation in FIR No. 97 (supra) stands completed and the final report under section 173 Cr.P.C. stands presented before the Ld. Court of competent jurisdiction on 10/02/2023, which is pending consideration before the Ld. Court and is now fixed for hearing on 01/08/2023. Thus, the present petition has been rendered infructuous."

In view of above, this Court feels that no further proceedings are warranted in the present case as law is already taking its course. 4.
