The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondent No. 1 to issue Emergency Travel Certificate to them.

The petitioner No. 1 i.e. Sukhwinder Kaur solemnized marriage with Gurmit Singh on 28.04.2017. She alongwith her husband shifted to South Africa. On account of matrimonial discord, she, at present, is not staying with her husband though is living in South Africa. She is blessed with three kids. She has lost her as well as son's passport in South Africa. The petitioners want to come back to India and for the said purpose, they have applied for Emergency Travel Certificate.
