Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? RAJIV NARAIN RAINA, J. (Oral) Time was sought from this Court on 27.5.2015 to move an application for bringing on record the LRs of the deceased-petitioner. No steps have been taken thereafter by the learned counsel to bring the LRs on record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has informed the Court Secretary that efforts to contact the LRs of the petitioner have turned out to be futile though it cannot be said with certainty that the cause of action has abated since it involves pension and gratuity and other retiral benefits which are claimable by LRs but all the same, in the absence of LRs on record, it would serve no useful purpose to keep this petition hanging fire and it may PARITOSH KUMAR 2016.02.08 15:00 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

on the other hand be more appropriate to close the file with liberty to the LRs of the petitioner to approach this Court, in case they wish to claim any benefit arising out of the estate of the petitioner with respect to the prayer made in this petition.
