Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 23.09.2019 (P-5) passed by respondent No.2Director Education Department (S.E.), Punjab, whereby punishment of stoppage of one annual increment with cumulative effect was imposed. Learned counsel, after going through the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment & Appeal) Rules, 1970, realized that the order impugned is appealable and therefore, he wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail the statutory remedy.
Ordered accordingly.
