Mr. Lekh Raj Sharma, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. Pankaj Mulwani, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana. Avneesh Jhingan, J. (Oral) The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.
This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to allow the petitioners to continue to work in the department and not to replace them with another set of contractual employees. On notice, the respondents have filed a short reply dated th October, 2020. Learned State counsel relies upon para-2 of reply to state that grievance of the petitioners does not survive as they are not being replaced by another set of contractual employees. Para 2 of the reply is reproduced:- "2. That the Hon'ble Court while hearing the matter on dated 12.02.2020 has passed the order which is reproduced as below:- Notice of motion for 16.07.2020.
In the meantime, petitioners shall not be replaced by another set of contractual employees subject to the condition that their work and conduct is PANKAJ BAWEJA 2020.11.05 02:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Sector-1, Chandigarh

In this context it is submitted that the petitioners are working and they are not replaced by another set of part time/ contractual employees. As the grievance of the petitioners is meeted out and hence the writ petition be dismissed is infructuous."
In view of reply filed, the petition is disposed of as infructuous.
