**** JAGMOHAN BANSAL , J. (Oral) The petitioner through instant petition is seeking quashing of FIR No.178 dated 21.09.2018 registered at Police Station Sardulgarh, District Mansa, under Sections 498-A/406 IPC. In compliance of order of this Court, the State has filed reply dated 16.01.2023 by way of affidavit of Gobinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Sardulgarh, District Mansa, which is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at appropriate place. Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Sukhpal, submits that challan stands presented against the petitioner and charges stand framed. The petitioner has challenged neither police report nor order of framing charges. He further submits that the petitioner is brother-in-law of father of the boy (fufad), thus, he very much falls within the definition of relatives.
