The learned Senior counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that he does not wish to press the present petition but prays that in view of the custody period undergone by the petitioner i.e. more than 05 years, the Trial Court be directed to conclude the trial within a period of 06 months.

Without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to the Trial Court to conclude the trial within a period of 06 months from the next date of hearing fixed before it. 3.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
