The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 26.05.1998 (Annexure P-13) and direction to respondents to grant them pay scales at par with employees of Hafed.

The petitioners were employees of M/s Hansi Spinning Mills Limited, Hansi. The said mill came to be handed over to respondent-Hafed vide lease deed dated 04.07.1985 for five years. The said period was further extended for ten years and further for six months. The lease period expired on 31.12.2000. The Unit came to be handed over to official Liquidator appointed by Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Haryana vide order dated PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2025.04.02 04:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No. 13419-1998(O&M) -223.03.1999 in order to wind up the mill. The mill was ultimately closed and all the employees were retrenched.

The mill was closed in 2001 and a period of 25 years has passed away. This Court in view of closure of the mill does not find it appropriate to direct the respondent, especially Hafed who managed the unit on lease for a particular period, to grant them pay parity. 4.
Dismissed.
