(ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash order dated 14.08.2000 whereby claim of the petitioners for removing anomaly in the pay scale of Assistant Consolidation Officer/Consolidation Officer at par with Naib Tehsildar and Tehsildar has been rejected.

From perusal of the record, it appears that power of attorney filed on behalf of the petitioners was of learned Senior Counsel himself when he was not the senior advocate. Resultantly, at present there is no counsel representing the petitioners who may not even be aware that the case has been listed. 3.

Be that as it may, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file appropriate application in case any cause of action still survives or the matter will be taken up for hearing on filing of fresh power of attorney duly authorized by the petitioners.
