Raj Kumar Hooda v. St Of Haryana Andors
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH
CWP-11666-2001 (O&M) Date of decision: July 13, 2022 Ex. Sgt. Raj Kumar Hooda
...Petitioner
versus State of Haryana and others
...Respondents
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN MONGA
Present:
None for the petitioner.
Mr. R.D. Sharma, DAG, Haryana.
***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to declare the petitioner as eligible for the post of A.S.I.
2.
Petition was filed in the year 2001 and has been lying admitted ever since. When taken up for final adjudication, after around 22 years, none appears on behalf of the petitioner.
3.
It seems that by sheer effluxion of time and pendency of the writ petition for more than 21 years before this Court, it has been rendered infructuous and/or the petitioner seems to have lost interest in pursuing the same. 4.
Be that as it may, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate application in case, any cause of action still survives.
