By way of present writ petition - M/s Chichrana Cooperative Credit & Service Society Ltd., Chichrana, Tehsil Gohana, District Sonepat, has challenged the award dated 06.03.1997 (Annexure P-3), passed by respondent No.1 - Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Rohtak (in short, 'learned Tribunal'), which has been answered in favour of respondent No.2 - Ram Bhaj (workman).

Workman was held entitled for reinstatement on his previous post with continuity of service and 75% of back-wages. The petitioner - Management has challenged the award dated 06.03.1997 (P-3), and while issuing notice of motion on 06.10.1997, operation of the impugned award (P-3), was stayed subject to the compliance of Section 17 (should be 17-B) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (for brevity, 'ID Act'). 3.

As per office report, counsel for the parties have already been informed through e-mail.

Despite the said information, no one is present before his Court on behalf of either of the parties.

However, it will be open for the petitioner to seek revival of the present writ petition by moving an appropriate application for revival of present writ petition, within a period of eight weeks from today, in case, any substantial question of law or cause of action still survives. Needless to say that, interim stay order dated 06.10.1997, would have no bearing with the disposal of present writ petition. 5.
