In deference to the aforementioned order, an SIT was constituted comprising three officers namely IG, Rajpal Singh, SP Rupinder Deep Kaur and DSP Karamveer Singh.

Ms. Rupinder Deep Kaur, SP, Extradition Cell, BOI, who is a member of the SIT, is present in the Court today and states that, on the investigation being conducted, a cancellation report is to be submitted, and the needful shall be done within a period of 07 days. 5.

Faced with this situation, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail his remedies in accordance with law before an appropriate forum.
