It is submitted by learned counsel for the parties that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, as the petitioner stands acquitted by the trial Court vide its judgment dated 31.10.2017. Under these circumstances, nothing substantial survives to adjudicate upon as such the instant petition stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
