Learned counsel for the State has handed over a copy of letter dated 30.07.2024 issued by the Chief Engineer, Nahira, Water Resources Department, Punjab, in Court today; which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Learned counsel for the State, while referring to the said letter, submits that 183.72 acres of area has been taken out from the Outlet No.176000/R/Main Branch and permission has been accorded for providing a new outlet at Mogha Burji 179000/R on the Main Branch. 3.

Learned senior counsel representing the petitioners, keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the State, submits that since a new outlet has already been provided, therefore, the instant writ petition has become infructuous. 4.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
