ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to initiate proceedings against the private respondents, allegedly for hindering the development works and smooth functioning of Gram Panchayat village Jhanduke, Block Sardulgarh, District Mansa.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the private respondents, due to political rivalry with the petitioner, are intentionally putting hindrances in the development works and smooth functioning of Panchayat. They did not come in the requisite meetings intentionally, resulting in lack of Coram. No development work thus could be initiated. In the circumstances, the petitioner caused issuance of Legal Notice dated 14.01.2021 (Annexure P-9) but the same has not been adverted till date. Hence, the petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.

No grounds for interference by this Court are made out in extra ordinary writ jurisdiction. Dispute seems to be a private one between the petitioner and the private respondents.

However, the dismissal of writ petition shall not come in the way of petitioner pursuing his representation dated 31.12.2020 (Annexure P-7), which is stated to be pending.
