Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 29.01.2022; that, as per the certificate dated 18.02.2022 of the members of Gram Panchayat, Nurpur Hakima, Block Kot Ise Jhan, Moga (Annexure P-3), they have no objection if the petitioner is released on interim bail and that they owe the responsibility that the petitioner will not indulge into such like act again. Notice of motion.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. Without going into the merits of the case and taking into consideration that the petitioner is to attend his brother's marriage, the present petition is disposed of and the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim regular bail w.e.f. 24.02.2022 to 02.03.2022 on furnishing the bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities on 02.03.2022 at 5:00 p.m. sharp.
