Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to consider and appoint the petitioner as Science Mistress. 2.

The Division Bench of this Court while issuing notice of motion on 05.10.2000, ordered this petition to be come up alongwith CWP-2430 of 1999, which stands disposed of vide order dated 05.07.2001 and reads thus:- "Heard learned counsel for the parties.

During the course of arguments, it has been stated that the matter is duly covered by the decision of the Supreme Court reported as Bhupinder Pal Singh and others vs. State of Punjab, 2000(2) SCT 826, as the challenge was to the same very selection which is under challenge in this petition. The decision of the Supreme Court refers to certain directions issued in respect of the selection. The respondents are directed to take appropriate action in the light of the aforesaid decision in the present petition. The petition stands disposed of accordingly."
