, -./ The present petition had been filed challenging the judgment dated 02.12.2022 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Moga in complaint case CIS No. COMI 58, 2016 under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 wherein the respondent No.2accused had been acquitted. Since Counsel for the petitioner was not appeared in the matter to advance argument and despite more than 02 years having elapsed, hence, Mr. Jasdeep Singh Salooja, Advocate had been appointed as a Legal Aid Counsel to assist this Court, vide order dated 13.10.2025.   On resumed hearing, the Legal Aid Counsel contends that the petitioner as well as the original Counsel engaged by the petitioner i.e. Mr. Sukhmeet Singh had contacted him telephonically and told him that they do not wish to contest the matter and intent to withdraw the same. Since the legal Aid Counsel has already held a discussion and communication with the petitioner himself as well as the Counsel, hence, the statement is accepted at par. The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
