Prayer made herein is to promote the petitioner on the post of Naib Tehsildar from the date that of his junior-Laxman Dass Verma was promoted w.e.f. 13.09.2000. In reply, thereof, the respondents have stated that as per instructions dated 24.06.1994, seniority list was to be prepared taking into consideration the date of passing the examination, which the respondent No.4 as per result dated 10.11.1998 passed and placed at Sr. No.289, whereas the petitioner at 290, since he was unable to do so. 2.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, reserving the petitioner with a liberty to get it revived, in case need arises.
