***** KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Petitioner No.1-Jatin aged 20 years and more than 6 months whereas petitioner No.2-Muskan aged 17 years and 10 months are into livein relationship against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 6 who are related to petitioner No.2.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that the aforesaid private respondents have threatened to cause harm to both the petitioners and in this regard, representation (Annexure P-2) was given on 22.2.2022 to respondent No.2 but till date no action has been taken by the concerned authority in this regard.

Mr. Naveen Kumar Sheoran, DAG, accepts notice on behalf of the State of Haryana. He submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In view of above, without going into merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to consider representation dated 22.2.2022 (Annexure P-2) and to provide appropriate protection to the petitioners if so warranted. However, any observations made in this order will not be construed as an expression of opinion on the relationship between the petitioners.

Respondents No.4 to 6 are at liberty to avail appropriate legal remedy against the petitioners.

In case the petitioners have committed any offence, the law will take its own course.
