Mr. Shahdab Ahmad, Advocate for the complainant. **** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) The parties seek quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise. However, on the last date of hearing none had appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Even today, none has appeared on his behalf. As such, it appears that the petitioner is not more interested to compromise the matter.

Consequently, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to file compromise petition again if need arises. It is clarified that dismissal of this petition shall not come in the way in case a fresh compromise petition if filed.
