The writ petition filed by the petitioner claiming promotion from the date on which his junior was promoted was disposed on 20.04.2018 with the direction to the Chief Engineer, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd. to pass a speaking order on the issue. The order passed by the Resident Engineer was set aside. Vide order dated 21.06.2018 (Annexure P-4 with the writ petition) the petitioner has been treated as Turbine Operator w.e.f. 28.10.1986 and granted all consequential financial benefits at par with Sh. Kanshi Ram.

COCP No.571 of 2019 -2treating the petitioner as Turbine Operator has wrongly been fixed as 28.10.1986 instead of 10.10.1986.

Learned counsel for the respondents contends that directions of this Court have been complied with by passing order dated 21.06.2018.

The grievance raised by learned counsel for the petitioner cannot be gone into the present contempt petition as directions of this Court have been complied with.

The contempt petition is disposed of.

Petitioner would be at liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law if aggrieved of fixation of date of promotion. Rule issued against the respondents stands discharged. [AVNEESH JHINGAN] JUDGE October 16, 2019
