Mrs. Anju Arora, learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab, has joined the proceedings on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4, in pursuance of the copies of this petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance. She informs the Court that the land in question has not yet been partitioned and submits that it being so, the demarcation proceedings cannot be carried out qua any specific portion of the joint land holding. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail the other appropriate efficacious legal remedy available to him to seek the redressal of his grievance as put forth in this petition.
