(ORAL) Prayer in this petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, is to quash impugned order dated 15.01.2020 (Annexure P-1), passed by respondent No. 2, vide which the petitioner has been compulsorily retired from service, i.e. from the post of Accountant, District Jail, Jhajjar, after attaining the age of 55 years, by giving him three months' notice. While passing the said order, provisions of Rule 144 of the Haryana Civil Service (General) Rules 2016 and Rules 25 and 27 of the Haryana Civil Service (Pension) Rules, 2016, as applicable to the State of Haryana, have been invoked.
