The petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent No.1 to 4 to restrain the respondent No.5 from constructing the building without sanction of the building plan. The petitioner claims that he is running a shop from the adjoining premises. 2.
The learned counsel representing the petitioner, after arguing for some time, admits that the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy. 3.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to exercise its extraordinary jurisdiction. The petitioner, if so advised, may avail an alternative remedy.

With the observations made above, the present writ petition is disposed of.
