RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to comply with the provisions of Section 160 Cr.P.C. read with Section 41 Cr.P.C. with a further prayer to direct respondents No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No.3 to 5, who are acting at the behest of ruling party.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if his representation, dated 18.01.2023, Annexure P-4, is decided in a time-bound manner.

Notice of motion to respondents No.1 and 2 only. On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2/State.

After hearing the counsel for the parties and going through the record, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent MEENU 2023.02.17 10:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
