(Oral) The petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of direction to learned Additional District Judge to decide the application (Annexure P-4), which has been adjourned without any specific order passed on 23.01.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an application, copy whereof is Annexure P-4, was filed before learned Appellate Court, for early disposal of the appeal, but however, no order relating to the said application has been passed by learned Appellate Court and the Court had simply adjourned the case for addressing arguments for 29.01.2024.

On query by the Court, it has been disclosed by learned counsel for the petitioner that the case had been further adjourned for the end of February, without taking note of the said application. In the given circumstances, the concerned Court of Additional District Judge, is hereby requested to take into consideration the application, copy whereof is Annexure P-4 and pass an appropriate order, as per the demand of the circumstances.
