[1] The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.
[2] This petition is filed for grant of anticipatory bail in F.I.R. No. 157, dated 28th November, 2019 under Sections 420/506 of I.P.C., registered at Police Station Chhajli, District Sangrur [3] On 11th February, 2020, following order was passed:- "Notice of motion.
On asking of the Court, Mr. Avtar S. Sandhu, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/ State. A copy of the paper book be handed over to him during the course of the day. Adjourned to 22.04.2020.
Meanwhile, in the event of arrest of the petitioner by the Arresting Officer, he shall be released on interim bail subject to the following conditions:-
1. That he shall make himself available for PANKAJ BAWEJA 2021.07.16 04:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH

2. That he shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any Police Officer and;
3. That he shall not leave India without prior permission of the Court."
[4] Today, Ms. Monika Jalota, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required.
[5] In view of statement made, the interim bail grant to the petitioner vide order dated 11th February, 2020 is made absolute. [6] The petition is disposed of.
