Through the instant writ petition, the petitioners seek the issuance of a direction to the respondent to adjust and include their minibuses bearing registration Nos. PB-07-M-8145, PB-07-Z-7524, and PB07-AS-2853 in the newly framed bus timetable dated 22.07.2024 pertaining to the route from Dasuya to Hajipur via Talwara side, and also in the timetable dated 22.07.2024 pertaining to the route from Hajipur to Dasuya via Nangal Ghogra side.

On the previous date of hearing, i.e. 06.02.2026, this Court had directed the learned State counsel to have appropriate instructions from the quarter concerned, and to apprise this Court of the legal impediment, if any, for non-consideration of the petitioners' representation. 3.

In compliance with the directions (supra), the learned State counsel has today, upon instructions from Mr. Amanpal Singh, Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Jalandhar, apprised the Court that although DEVINDER YADAV 2026.02.27 14:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-3465-2026 the aforesaid timetable was framed on 22.07.2024, the petitioners had lifted their permits on 05.11.2024. It is further submitted that the competent authority is presently actively seized of the matter for the purpose of framing a fresh timetable, with the most recent meeting in this regard having been convened on 12.02.2026, wherein the petitioners participated. The next meeting has been scheduled for 06.03.2026, wherein the petitioners' claim shall be duly considered. It is finally submitted that the entire proceedings shall be concluded within a period of two months from today. 4.

In view of the submissions made by the learned State counsel, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the primary grievance of the petitioners stands redressed, and accordingly, he does not wish to press the instant writ petition.

Consequently, the instant writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
