The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release to the petitioner arrears of revised pension under the Employees Provident Fund Pension Scheme, 1995, which has been arbitrarily withheld by the respondents along with interest @ 12% per annum from the date due till the actual date of payment of the same.

On the last date of hearing i.e. 27.02.2024, the following order was passed :- "Learned counsel for respondents No.2 to 4 submits that the instant writ petition has been rendered infructuous as subsequently, the pension of the petitioner has been refixed on wage ceiling and the same has been challenged by him in CWP No.12643 of 2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks short adjournment to get instructions.
