Main Case The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing order dated 20.11.2023, Annexure P-14, whereby the petitioner was dismissed from service without following the procedure prescribed under Haryana Civil Services (Punishment & Appeal) Rules, 2016.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that appeal against the impugned order of dismissal, dated 20.11.2023, has not been decided by the first appellate authority as yet, and the petitioner will be AVIN KUMAR 2024.04.22 18:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this judgment/order.

Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, contends that the pending appeal, dated 04.01.2024 (wrongly mentioned as 04.01.2023), Annexure P-16, against the order of dismissal will be decided by the first appellate authority/Engineer-in-Chief by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within two months. 4.

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof. 5.
