Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.62 dated 14.08.2024 under Sections 406, 420 of IPC, registered at Police Station Garhdiwal, District Hoshiarpur.

This Court, vide order dated 19.12.2025, had directed that the petitioner shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for and in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail on his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner was also ordered to abide by the conditions as specified under Section 482(2) BNSS. CRM-M-6750-2025 (O&M) -23. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 19.12.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined and cooperated with the investigation.

Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petition is allowed and the interim order dated 19.12.2025 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
