     JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) On 14.02.2024, the following order was passed :- "The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of the order dated 01.12.2023 whereby the bail bonds and surety bonds of the petitioner have been cancelled/forfeited by the Court of Sessions Judge, Sri Muktsar Sahib in case FIR No.182 dated 22.09.2019 registered under Sections 379B, 34 IPC, 1860 at P.S. City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner was unable to appear on date i.e. 01.12.2023 because of which the impugned order came to be passed. He states that he is ready and willing to join proceedings once again.

Notice of motion for 19.03.2024.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today subject to a deposit of SATISH KUMAR 2024.03.20 10:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh

 

  Rs.25,000/- as costs with the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, Account No.65035682434, IFSC Code: SBIN0050306, State Bank of India, High Court Branch and on his doing he shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the Trial Court."

Thereafter, on 04.03.2024, the following order was passed :- "CRM-8982-2024 The prayer in the application under Section 482 Cr.PC is for the grant of one more opportunity to appear before the Trial Court in terms of the order dated 14.02.2024.

Heard.

In view of the averments made in the application, the same is allowed and petitioner is granted one more opportunity to appear before the Trial Court in terms of the order dated 14.02.2024." Despite passing of the aforementioned orders, the petitioner has not surrendered in compliance with the aforementioned orders. In view of the above, the present petition stands dismissed.
