(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No. 10 dated 08.01.2019, registered under Sections 380 and 506 IPC at Police Station Division No. 4, Ludhiana City.

According to the prosecution, in the intervening night of 01/02.01.2019, burglary, theft of gold ornaments and other household articles took place at the house of complainant. On enquiry, it was found that petitioner had committed the aforesaid act. Heard.

Considering the seriousness of allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, inasmuch as, recovery of gold ornaments and other household articles has to be effected from the petitioner. Therefore, his custodial interrogation is very much essential. The instant petition, being meritless, is dismissed.
