(ORAL) Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and while refraining from making any expression as regards veracity of the averments/allegations made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) to ensure that in case the petitioners are sought to be associated with any inquiry or some information is to be elicited from them, then a prior written notice be served upon them.

It is however, made clear that aforesaid order is not to be construed any direction or any bar against taking appropriate action in accordance with law in case it is found that any wrong has been committed by the petitioners.
