PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer is for interim bail on the ground that the marriage of the sister of the petitioner is fixed for 18.02.2024. 2.

Reply by way of affidavit Rajesh Kumar, PPS, DSP (Rural) Ferozepur has been filed on behalf of respondent-State today in Court, which is taken on record.

As per the same, on verification it has been found that the marriage of the petitioner's sister is in fact fixed for 18.02.2024. However, at the same time it has also come on record that the petitioner has another brother namely Raj Singh who is residing in the same house. The petitioner is facing two more FIRs under the NDPS Act.

For the purpose of attending wedding, the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Authorities. The petitioner be released forthwith. He is directed to surrender back before the Jail Authorities concerned on 21st of February, 2024 at 11.30 A.M.

However, in addition to conditions that may be imposed by the Jail Authorities, the petitioner shall remain bound by the following conditions :- (i) The petitioner shall not mis-use the liberty granted. (ii) The petitioner shall not tamper with any evidence oral or documentary during the trial.

(iii) The petitioner shall not absent himself on any date before the trial.

(iv) The petitioner shall not commit any offence while on bail.

(v) The petitioner shall deposit his passport, if any with the Jail Authority/Trial Court.

(vi) The petitioner shall give his cellphone number to the police authorities and shall not change his cellphone number without permission of the trial Court.

(vii) The petitioner shall not in any manner try to delay the trial.

In case of breach of any of the aforesaid conditions, the prosecution shall be at liberty to move cancellation of bail of the petitioner. 7.

The petition is disposed off accordingly.
