The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 12.10.2000 and relieving order dated 14.10.2000 whereby he was sent back from Police Training College, Madhuban.

The petitioner by impugned orders was denied opportunity to undergo Intermediate School course. This Court vide order dated 18.10.2000 stayed operation of impugned orders by way of directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue with the course. 3.
Ms. Palika Monga, DAG, Haryana submits that pursuant to interim order of this Court, the petitioner was permitted to undergo Intermediate School course. He got due promotion and thereafter retired on 31.07.2014 on attaining the age of superannuation. She further submits that in view of the aforesaid factual position, the instant petition has rendered infructuous.
