  Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 22 dated 15.09.2017 registered under Sections 21, 25, 29, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act, Sections 364, 382, 386, 387, 212, 216, 216-A, 414, 416, 120-B IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, at Police Station S.S.O.C. Amritsar, District Amritsar. Custody certificate dated 15.03.2022 issued by the Superintendent, Central Jail, Bathinda, submitted by the learned State counsel through email, is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case; that nothing has been recovered from the petitioner; that the petitioner has been in custody for the last more than 4 years; and that there is no head way in the trial and prays that because of long incarceration, the petitioner may be released on regular bail.
