(ORAL) Through this Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 5 to protect the life and liberty of petitioners at the hands of respondents No.9 to 16 in connivance with respondents No.6 to 8. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, is directed to look into representation (Annexure P-6) moved by the petitioners, in a time-bound manner.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, to look into the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P-6) and decide the same after hearing the petitioners RAVINDER SINGH 2020.02.13 17:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
