HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.172 dated 03.08.2020 under Section 61,1 and 14 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914 registered at P.S Sarai Amanat Khan, Tarn Taran.

Vide order dated 26.02.2021, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required.

In view of above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 26.02.2021 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
