The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 17.08.1999 (Annexure P-12) whereby Deputy Inspector General of Police, Hisar changed his date of confirmation as Head Constable. 2.

The operation of impugned order was stayed by Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 21.09.1999. The petitioner, in view of interim order, continued to hold post of Head Constable and was further promoted.

Mr. Raman Sharma, Addl. A.G., Haryana submits that petitioner retired as Inspector on 31.07.2010.
