DAILY LOK ADALAT BENCH NO.3 CWP-15863-1997 TEEJAN DEVI V/S PRESIDING OFFICER, LABOUR COURT CUM INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNAL HISAR & ORS.

Present:
Mr. Ravi Sodhi, Advocate For the petitioner.
Mr. Ajay Sharma, DAG Haryana.
* * * * The Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Hisar vide order dated May 20, 1997 rejected the reference after holding that it cannot be said that the services of the workman were terminated on 31.07.1991 illegally as alleged by her and she is, therefore, not entitled to any relief. It is this order of the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, which is under challenge in this writ petition, which was filed during the year, 1997.
Counsel for the petitioner had sought time to write a registered letter to the petitioner. It transpires that the registered letter written to the petitioner was received back undelivered with the report that the petitioner has since died. A photocopy of that letter has been placed on record. Legal representatives of the deceased petitioner have not been brought on record. Consequently, the writ petition is ordered to be consigned to record. Liberty is, however, granted to the LRs of the deceased petitioner to get it revived, if need be. (G.C. GARG) PRESIDENT (N.K.
